Im a composer of classical/contemperary music.Ive studied composition at The Norwegian State Academy of Music.
Ive written many works for everything from small chamber music ensembles to large scaled symphonic orchestra.
So much beautiful music has allready been written, the challenge for the composers of today is to write the ugly music.but in a way that makes it also sound beautiful
Filip Sandes achievments till now:
100 Compositions for different ensembles from solo instrument(s) to large symphony orchestra with choir. Among them we find 3 symphonies, a Violin-concerto, Cello-concerto, Viola-concerto, an Oriatorium (NYX), the opera Fjeldfuglen (The Mountainbird/L'oiseau de montagne) on a libretto by Henrik Ibsen, a Concerto for clarinet and strings and five String-quartets.
Three novels (Rain over ocean 2009, Dwellings on the colour black 2010 The taste of sun 2011)
Seven books of poetry.
One book of essays.
