FIGURE H8 BIOGRAPHY

Figure H8 was conceived in May of 2001 by breeding the various metal genres from industrial to hardcore cultivating a unique brand of rock. Figure H8 draws from various influences including bands such as Static X, Mudvayne, Marilyn Manson and Fear Factory. The sonic creation that evolves is one that makes the music interesting without being complicated, repetitive or boring. Through the years the development of Figure H8s unique more textured sound necessitated line up changes. In recent reviews, it has become evident that these changes were indeed aiding the band to solidify their sound.



Figure H8 took a long hiatus in 2005 to return to open for Chimaira at the Pearl Room. The audience was impressed and the show was fantastic.



Through the past four years, Figure H8 has shared the stage supporting such acts as Soulfly, Chimaira, Unloco,Memento,Crowbar,Factory 81, Six Feet Under,Static-X, Lamb of God American Head Charge, and Drowning Pool demonstrating that they can hold their own on a national level.

-- Looking forward to 2010! We're writing new material with new equipment and discussing whether or not to even keep the band name. Figure H8 was formed in 2001 and has gone through three lineup changes since then. Changing our band's name is important to us considering the new lineup and change in the sound makes us like a whole new band again! We like our sound we just want to be more creative and musical. This change is for the better! The songs we write we're proud of, it's just that we feel it's time to wipe the slate clean. Keep checking back with us for new material that you will hear first.



We thank Best Buy for their support! We hear a lot of feedback from new fans! Look for us in selected Midwest BEST BUY stores in Chicago, Ohio , Wisconsin and Michigan.
