Dennis Levitin (Red Eyez) is a Copenhagen based MC, born and raised in Denmark. He dropped his first demo back in 2001 followed by his independent debut album "Theres Always 2 Sides Of A Story" . He is also one of the founders of the danish rap crew "Street Committee", Which him and Jesper Helles (Livid) formed back in 2000. They signed a record deal with EMI/Virgin in 2004, But left the lable due disagreements. EMI still finaced the project, the album was push out by a underground record lable IMWI (If Music Was Illegal) founded by their A&R, Rene Cambony. In 2006 the album dropped under the title "Street Committee: Suburbalistic". The album featured artist such as, the late great danish raggae star Natasja(R.I.P), the danish freestyle champion Pede-B and lengendary musicians like Lee Oskar (WAR), Raul Rekow (Carlos Santana), Fernando Saunders (Lou Reed). Dennis (Red Eyez) has been featured on several american mixtapes since then; "The Resistance"(2007), "Emcees 4 Peace: A Piece Of Knowlege"(2008) etc. Dennis (Red Eyez) is known for his hardcore political poetry, strong relgious point of views and his emotional story telling with a powerfull delivery. He grew up in the 1990s, Hip Hops golden era. You can tell by his flow and style that the love from the 90s rap had a huge impact on him, but he still manage to have a voice of his own. He is a MC with alot of respect for his culture and roots. The passion shines through in his work and way of rhyming. He recently finished a online solo album "The Copenhagen Chronicles (2009)", which features Hell-Razah (Sunz of Man). The album is mainly produced by his friend DJ Wernz, a danish DJ/Producer. The album will be followed up by a 2nd online album in the start of 2010 "The Eastblock Connection". Its a project produced by a polish producer Ryba, both albums are mixed and masterd by a danish studio engineer Femmar (The Sixth Sun). Dennis (Red Eyez) is an active MC and is always involved in numerous diffrent projects, everything from immergration programs for young troubled kids, rap coaching and tv-documentaries. He has also been performing alot in the danish underground scene these last few years, creating a buzz and travling back and forth from Denmark to USA. Besides music his daily job is as a youth consultant at a rehabilation home for young crimminals, where he also uses the elements of Hip Hop to try and steer them in the right direction. He is a child of Hip Hop, a fan of Hip Hop and living Hip Hop, so you will definitely keep hearing from him and his friends.
