Music from rockabilly pioneer, Fern Jones, has been re-mastered and released on the CD, Fern Jones/The Glory Road (Numero Group) The CD features songs recorded in the 1950's in Nashville, featuring studio and touring musicians fresh from sessions with Elvis.



Fern's music is featured in music writer/critic Tom Moon's just released book, "1,000 Recordings To Hear Before You Die."



The movie, "Walk The Line," features Fern's song, "I Was There When It Happened." it was a pivotal song for Johnny Cash, who sang it when he auditioned for Sun Records. Johnny continued to sing the song in performances all his life.



Fern's song, "I Was There When It Happened" is featured in a new show now airing on TV (DVD available) called "The Gospel Music Of Johnny Cash" hosted by Dan Rather.



Fern's music appears in movies and television shows. Friday Night Lights used "Be Thankful You're You" and Weeds featured "Strange Things Happening."



NPR's All Things Considered aired a story about Fern.



Radio stations have rediscovered her music and Fern is now playing (again) all over the world.
