Born in Itapeva- SP - Brazil and brought up in a multi-cultural environment, Fernando began his music studies simultaneously at Escola Municipal de Música and the House of Spain in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Musicians such as Lorenzo Virseda, Paco Cruz and Manolo San Lucar deeply influenced his initial training as a Flamenco musician. His interactions with Spanish guitar maestros and Flamenco dance companies touring Brazil, lead to collaborations with Spanish artists who had immigrated to Brazil. He subsequently worked closely with the Flamenco guitarist legend, Gerardo Nunez.
Fernando is the winner of the prestigious award, "Certámen de Coreografía, Danza Española y Flamenco", for best original music composition for dance, in June 2004 at the Teatro Albéniz, Madrid.

Fernando currently lives in Madrid, Spain. He performs worldwide and is actively involved in diverse musical projects, both as a solo artist and in collaboration with other musicians with his own composed material. His repertoire reflects the strong musical and multicultural influences from Flamenco, Bossa nova, Samba and Chorinho.
