Fellguards popularity is rapidly growing since winning the award for "Best High School Band" at the 2008 Inland Empire Music Awards, where they were also nominated for "Best Live Band". There very first gig together was in Oct. of 2007 where they won First Place at the City of Murrieta Battle of the Bands. Recently Fellguard took home the award for "BEST METAL BAND" at the 2009 HOLLYWOOD MUSIC IN MEDIA AWARDS. This red carpet award show recognizes up and coming artists as well as established artists. Fellgaurd was also chosen as one of only 10 artists/bands from across the country and internationally to showcase at the 14th Annual Temecula Valley Internantional Film & Music Festival. Fellguard was featured in the June/July 2008 issue of 951 Magazine as one of the "51 To Watch in the Inland Empire". With a broad fan base who are constantly wanting to experience the band in action, Fellguard is actively seeking new venues in which to perform.
Fellguard is a band that provides people with a rock/metal sound reminiscent of past generations, with a current, euro-metal quality. As fans of neo-classical metal, and old-school classic metal, Fellguard has fused a unique style some call "power metal". Now, Fellguard is getting an average of 2-3 gigs a month, attending the world famous NAMM show, gaining momentum among the metal underground scene, and designing their own custom guitars. Sharing the stage with bands such as Blacktide, Oz Fox of Stryper, Trail of Tears, Unexpect, Doro, Echoes of Eternity, Souljourners, Dark Haven, Nine Tail and more! Fellguard is a band that provides people with a rock/metal sound reminiscent of past generations, with a current, euro-metal quality. The fast growing appetite for quality rock n roll is filled by the band’s hard-rocking yet melodic guitar sounds.
Fellguard brought their city together for a benefit concert to raise food and money for the Community Food Pantry of Murrieta, drawing hundreds of people as the organizers and head-lining band. Oz Fox of Stryper made a guest star appearance at the concert playing 3 songs with Fellguard
Fellguard has worked non-stop writing and recording new songs, currently working with respected producer Eric Greedy. After seeing Fellguard live you can see that they are dedicated musicians writing and performing real, high-energy, quality rock!
Fellguard has been getting a lot of air play on many radio and online stations including, Q103.3 Music Meeting Radio Show featured unsigned artist, X103.9 Local Band Spotlight, Music Pulse Radio, Raise Your Fist Radio, Flash Rock, and more.
