DJ BRANNU

Brannu is a horse jockey by day, disc jockey by night. Helping Others Reach Success through Equestrianism and spinning records with a distinct fresh style gives him the horsepower to paint smiles. Riding the beat of a horse's footsteps in the sand of Brooklyn's Jamaica Bay along with spinning beats from his family's collection of vinyl in the basement of a Brooklyn home gave birth to Brannu's distinct fresh style. Spinning records night and day as a teenager became "the new love" of Brannu's life. Passion for "the new love" left his high school girlfriend heart broken enough to break his records which inspired the break records logo he wears for a necklace.



The break up left Brannu digging in the crates looking for the perfect beat. With the introduction from a cousin to Biz Markie, one of the industry’s pioneers in beat-boxing, Brannu emerged from the his family's basement to BET's basement on Rap City to Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion. Twenty percent of all proceeds Brannu earns from deejaying for your event, celebrity parties, and national TV networks benefit young lives with brand new clothes, mentoring and other necessary tools to give them a "fresh" approach towards living a positive life. Regardless of the ups and downs in life which Brannu calls "the beat of life", he believes young lives can produce a positive trail for others to follow with the proper mentoring.



Brannu founded a nonprofit organization called The New School of F.R.E.S.H to provide the proper mentoring for young lives to learn the five steps to become a positive rider that leaves a positive trail for others to follow. Brannu is a new kind of hero for teaching riding "the beat of life" is similar to riding "the beat of a horse" because the natural up and down motion of a horse can make you smile or throw you off causing pain suffering like the ups and downs of life. With a spin to the word fresh, Brannu and his beautiful paint horse, Spinderella, mentor young lives how to get f.r.e.s.h (Friendly. Respect. Excellence. Spiritual. Healthy). F.R.E.S.H produces the rhythm that moves a rider beautifully to "the beat of life" or "the beat of a horse". The use of fundamental horsemanship in equestrian activities such as trail rides and riding lessons are related to the positive values of a human relationship that can spin young lives in the direction of kindness, treating others how you want to be treated, proper grooming, dressing for success, living safe and eating healthy. Together as members of the Get F.r.e.s.h Crew, Brannu and Spinderella, spin lives into f.r.e.s.h pictures from your town to their town of beautiful acres of trails at the Paint Academy.



Paint Academy is a full equestrian facility from the horse lover to the horse owner. Golden gates, beautiful paints, white sand and palm trees amongst love, peace, and happiness gives every visitor a sense of what it means to "feel brannu". The academy's equestrian services such as horse boarding, horse training, riding lessons or trail rides require donations of clothing , school supplies and etc. for discounted rates. The donated items help Brannu and Spinderella spin lives into f.r.e.s.h pictures because every month they saddle up to ride them to low income households, single parent households, shelters, group homes, and etc. DJ Brannu says, "I created the Paint Academy to Help Others Reach Succes through Equestrian. The donated items in exchange of equestrian activities provide young leaders with the necessary tools to send them across the finish line toward realizing their own potential. I look forward to combining my love of music with my desire to saddle kids with success.”
