So you wanna know more about me, huh? Well I'm Fattay, of Real Hype Records. I started Real Hype Records in an attempt to gather artists who share the same passion and talent for music as I do. I started in Spring of 2004, writing and recording. I had always been a pretty good writer in English classes and what not (when I did do my work). People ask me why I'm different? People ask me a lot of things, so I'm going to answer a few of them below.

Q: What makes you different then other up and coming artists?

A: Are you fucking kidding me? Man, were all alike, but were all different. Yea, we all have our struggles, we all have our racial problems, our money problems, our family problems, our friendship and relationship troubles, and of course death. We all deal with it. Those are generic problems. What makes us different is how we react, how we deal with this hardships in our life. The past 4 years of my life have been hell. But I'm still here, aren't I? Pinch me if I'm fucking dreaming, but life is a bitch. Thats just what it is. But we all gotta deal with it. And my way of dealing with it is through my music. I focus more on my emotional tracks, then a club banger I do just to bring in more listeners. Feel Me?

Q: What can we expect to hear in Fattay's music?

A: You can expect to hear a lot of the word fuck. Haha, honestly? Man, my music is real. It's as real as I can make it. If I say something I didn't personally experience, then there is a good reason why I said it. I only talk about bullshit I been through, situations I've encountered, or dreams and aspirations I may have or have had. When I say what I say, its what I mean. I don't say if I didn't at one point feel that way. And I'm going to tell you what someone else is going to censor. When I say I'm so mad I could KILL them. Aye, I'm so mad I could kill them. (P.S. - Just cause I say it don't mean I'm going to do it. I also have common sense.) So when you listen to Fattay track, album, or even just a verse, you know you're getting genuine thoughts from my brain.

Q: Who is your favorite artist?

A: That's kind of a dumb question. I mean, honestly. I don't really have a favorite. I listen to so many different things - one minute I might be listening to Dream Big, by Ryan Shupe and the next minute it's "Kim" by Eminem. Then I might listen to "Rock You Like a Hurricane" by the Scorpions, and then put on "Riotmaker" by Tech N9ne. I have a wide variety, ya feel me? I feel like all good artists have to be able to understand and recognize other genres of music. Afterall, its all music.

Q: Will you be successful? Will you succeed as an artist?

A: You know, I don't really know. I don't think I want to know either. If things work out, I would be more then pleased. Music is what I love, of course I would love to make money from it and live on it. It'd be great. But if it doesn't work out, then I'm just another statistic. And as harsh as that is, it's the truth. I don't plan on ever quitting rap. It's what I do. I might go behind the scenes for a bit, and/or take a break, but qutting isn't in my game plan.

Q: Fans.Do you have any? If so, what do you want do say to them?

A: You know.I don't know if I have any real fans of my music. I get the occassional "your tracks are pretty good" but I mean, I don't really know if they actually listen to my music and can relate to it. But to those of you who do enjoy me, I appreciate you. A ton. Its the best feeling in the world to know that people like what you're doing, especially if you love doing it. Ya know, if you like my music, download it. I'm putting it here free, to my fans so they can have it on their iPod, or whatever, ya know? Do what you want with it, show your friends. But the bottom line is, fans = success. So thank you to all my fans!

Fattay is currently working with many for collabs, and what not. He is also working with labelmate Shifty to release his solo album "Revive". Fattay is also working on another solo album, and a full length CD that is completely clean.
