Family Jammin

It is at the dawn of the new millennium that FAMILY JAMMIN’ is born, sharing the common desire to the sounds of reggae, rock, jazz and funk, and create their own sound, ignoring commercial restraints.
Accompanied by rhythmic bass drums and a voice that comes straight out of Kingston, the tone and velocity of ragga vocals emphasizes the singularity of the group.
FAMILY JAMMIN has never had the ambition to be restrained in a sole musical style. Rapidly the group evolves towards blending different approaches and styles, thereby integrating each member’s asset into the music. The life of a group is forever questioning itself and making changes. This goes for Family Jammin’ with the change of their drummer, a guitarist that left, the arrival of a keyboardist and moving to Brussels.
These upheavals only strengthen the group’s determination to share its music. Rhythmic and dancing music, through personal lyrics with a unique voice, its colours and spirit on unique melodies and an efficient groove carried by the rest of the group…
