Created from a pod of accidental preparation and the sciences of mistake, I never quite functioned on a level that would be considered "normal". I'm the popular outcast with a cynical sense of reality and a misleading physical frame. The twisted truth shaped into the perfect form of bones, skin and hair. I was the "talentless" talent with a prodigy potential, and a bad attitude that got me good grades. I talk back, talk shit and never get it. Inside of me are passionate ships of inspiration, driving me into the stellar universes of infinite successes, friendships and ultimately eventually happiness. I struggled with the taunting tears of insecurity while manipulating the cards that were dealt until they turned into the shapes that best suited my aesthetic. I created and destroyed the bonds encapsulated in a cocoon of fake, real and irony only to discover what goes up must come down and what gets high somehow never seems to be able to fly into the stars. I am the obsession of perfectionism and imagery knowing that impressionistic statements are only effectively embedded via extreme brainwashing techniques (I.E Music). Cleverly configured into the perfect bite size dosage of clearly arranged notes playing effortlessly down your tongue and forever into your mind. Resting, ripping, tearing and bleeding away at the core consciousness of stable and acceptable. Ripped, torn bled. The coarse slurs of poetic lyricism effortlessly arranged over sub bass and deafening dance kicks. The undertone of truth with the glossy finish of "that couldn't be so". Concentrated bizarre wrapped up into a plastic, self-proclaimed innocent, viral overdose of strings, analog synth and guitar filters. I meld my way into your heart and out of your life one illogical logic song at a time.



FAKEBESTFRIEND is a musical infusion of electro and hip-hop rap/dance music. My music is a trip into my head. A trip through all of my thoughts and opinions and perceptions of the world around me. You can like it, or not. I don't give a fuck.



The band name origin:
FAKEBESTFRIEND is the epitome of angst from concentrate. FAKEBESTFRIEND is every person who has ever pat you on the back one moment, and then stabbed it the next.
FAKEBESTFRIEND is everyone on my friend list.
FAKEBESTFRIEND is every "friend" who never has time to call you back or see you but signs onto MySpace every day. =D
FAKEBESTFRIEND is one person with the exception of occasional collaborations. I started writing music in 2001 and released my first songs on myspace and through friends from livejournal VIA AOL Instant Messenger.
From there my music translated into collaborations with fellow internet artists. FAKEBESTFRIEND zeroed in on something that works.



With the underground release of "Anorexia" in 2001, Fakebestfriend gained a small and dedicated following.
