Faded Blue has emerged as one of the brightest rising stars on the East Coast music scene through talent, hard work, and a rigorous touring schedule. In addition to showcasing the considerable talents of Tyler Lopez (lead vocals and guitar), and Bryan Page (drummer), the album debuts new band members, Nick Gauthier (lead guitar, vocals), and Mark Clazie (bass guitar). The Halifax based band is following up on the success of their smash hit, "Turn it Up," and, "So Blind," with all new songs from their eponymously titled album, Faded Blue (Produced at Feswick Productions), with tracks featuring JP Cormier's fiddle on "One More Line", Ian Sherwood's sax ", and Drumlin on "If Everybody Believes."

With the release of Faded Blue, the band takes their music in a refreshing, new direction. Drawing on old school harmonies evocative of the Beach Boys, along with the versatility of the Traveling Wilburys, the result is an enormously enjoyable and engaging sound that has been described as Bedouin Soundclash meets the Goo Goo Dolls with an East Coast accent, but remains uniquely Faded Blue.

With the new album, Faded Blue keeps up the pace, and has performed on stage with Colin James, illscarlett, Jimmy Swift Band, MIR, Alfie Zappacosta, Steven Bowers, Hal Bruce, Helix, and Joel Plaskett, to name a few. Faded Blue also played at Contact East, The ECMA's, Privateer Days, Jack Frost Festival, and Music Nova Scotia Week. The band appeared on ATV's Breakfast Television, where they performed their hit singles, "So Blind," "Blue Mountain Gate," "Turn it Up," and "Don't tell me I'm Wrong." They played their Christmas song, "Here & Gone," for Christmas Daddies Telethon (YouTube). Faded Blue received heavy airplay all over the Maritimes with their singles, "So Blind," "Shout," and "Jam In A." Two of those songs spent many weeks in the top ten of The East Coast Countdown and "Turn it Up" went to number one in the Countdown in April 2008. Faded Blue was selected one of Q104's Top 25 Homegrown releases of 2006.

In the coming months, you will be hearing more from Faded Blue on the radio, and live at a music venue near you.
