Ezequiel Ghilardi



Ezequiel Ghilardi started his musical

studies at age 8 at an institute in the city of Rosario/Argentina.



At age 12 he started playing in the Rosario Simphony Orchestra as a percussionist and was in that position for 7 years(Rosario is the second most important town in Argentina)



During years 1992 to 1999 he took clases with different teachers in his country and performed in several bands as a drummer and percussionist .Among the folowing con be hightlighted:



Luis Salinas( a very well known guitar player from Argentina) drums

Rosario Jazz Festival 1999/2000(performed with a latin jazz quintet) drums

Young Simphony Orchestra percussion

Ionization(contemporary music work) pecussion.



At the beginning of year 2000 he formed part of a musical pop band called Vilma Palma e Vampiros.With this band he recorded in studio and toured several countries in America.



During the same year he worked in his own recording studio and started to get involved in musical productions and audio mixing,wich he continues doing.



In 2002 he was recomended to work in Buenos Aires by the verywellknow drummer Jota Morelli(Al Jarreau) and started to get in touch with several musical producers . He has shared and recorded sessions with very wellknows musicians from Argentina and other countries.



During the same year he performed in live concerts with singer Magali Bachor



In year 2004 he is called to integrate Latin singer Diego Torres band With this artist he has recorded an MTV unplugged /diego torres mtv unplugged/2004/ and a studio production(Andando 2006).



He has toured in several countries of America and Europe with Diego torres



He performed at The Sabian Show 2006 in Buenos Aires, Argentina sharing the stage with drummer Jorge Araujo (Argentina) and Dave Weckl(U.S.A)



In 2008 he started working in his own first soloist cd, a mix of all the musical styles Ezequiel has grown up listening to.



He composed ,arranged,produced and mixed it down.



Currently he is again playing with Latin singer Diego Torres.



He endorses DW drums, Sabian cymbals, and EVANS drumheads
