Taking cues from gruff post-hardcore greats like Hot Water Music, Small Brown Bike, Planes Mistaken for Stars, and maybe a little At the Drive-In, there is so



much bristling energy here, and in their live shows especially, that these kids might eventually give their heroes a run for their money. Even on the more mid-



tempo songs, the pace and energy level just doesn't let up, and the young Montreal quartet comes on like freight train. Plus any band that uses a lot of gang



vocals is a-ok in my books.
