Evo Advent Child aka UK Remixs King

Releasing his debut album ‘Advent Child’ through his own label Rawline Dark Til Dawn (DTD), Evo presents a collection of Hip-Hop and grime beats in June 2007. The name Evo reflects his style, his athletics, his speed and intensity as an artist. Using his producing skills to recreate tracks using orchestral and fantasy samples, the nineteen-year-old West Londoner aims to hit his listeners with a direct flow that reflects his passion, drive and realness. Covering his life experiences whilst growing up, his dreams for the future and simply his ideas of having fun, Evo plans to take his music from an underground perspective to a national one.

‘Advent Child’ includes a selection of tracks remixed and arranged by Evo, featuring the infectious song ‘What’s My Name’, thought provoking ‘Why We Die’, reflective ‘True Stories’ and insightful ‘Trouble Change’.

Virus and Neva; members from the Rawline DTD camp also rap on the track ‘The Anthem’ which displays Evo’s rap skills at his best. Fast paced beats, claps and strings all contribute to a track which is surely set to create an impact on the streets.

With full support from his family, friends and most importantly his manager, Evo has performed at shows in the local area. He was also an opening act for the Get Bac Tour for Fabolous which had special guests Joe Budden, Wiley, Estelle and Tahmac. On his performance he added “It was a good experience where my friends from High School had turned up and didn’t know that I would be there. The crowd gave a good response to a new up-and-coming artist.”

“At school I was always battling people, using the music systems like Fruity Loops and creating new tunes. I entered talent shows, performed at the Southall Dominion in 2004 and studied music with the People Parent Partynership at Ealing Council. Having previously released Trouble Change in 2004, Before Crisis the mix tape in 2005, and Hit Back, Evo decided that now was the time to display his talents and give his followers something which he felt was his best work to date.

In November Evo hopes to release another album and continue doing the thing that he enjoys the most: making music.
