Euterpia naît fin 2001 autour de Masselot Guillaume (chant, guitare), Duez David (guitare) et Bail Mickael (Batterie). Après s’être quelques temps établi sur des reprises, le groupe trouve d’autres membres pour obtenir un line up au complet.
Caille Fabien rejoint Euterpia en tant que bassiste en janvier 2002.
Morel Fabrice, rejoint Euterpia en tant que chanteur en fevrier 2002.
Le groupe s’est progressivement attaché à la composition, cherchant avant tout à développer une musique originale et percutante.
En 2004, le groupe sort sa première Demo « Under This » auto produite.
Il passe plusieurs fois sur scène, notamment au Hertz Night Festival, au Camaracumm Festival et pour de nombreuses associations.
Au mois d’octobre 2004, Fabrice décide de quitter Euterpia.
C’est alors que Euterpia change sa musique pour la rendre plus originale et agressive.
Cette formation définitive se Produit dans divers festivals dont le Dark Fest, le festival Heart of rockor, le tremplin TC music, etc…
Le groupe enchaîne également des concerts dans le Nord de la France avec :Goryptic, Perkiz, SyN, Euthanasie(Japon), Moonkind, Unscarred, Mandragore, Alasthor, etc…
Début 2007, le groupe se prépare à la sortie de son premier album nommé « Between Darkness and Light », album percutant et planant où leur "Doom-Death" enchaîne ses états d’âmes avec finesse et logique, sur de longues pièces musicales racontant la vie, comme un texte religieux torturé.

After a few times tested on covers, the group find other members to obtain a full line up.
Caille Fabien, guitarist in the Livaibush group, joined Euterpia as a bass player in January 2002. Morel Fabrice, joined Euterpia as a singer in February 2002.
The group was gradually harnessed with the composition, looking at first to develop an original and percussion music.
In 2004, the group produce its first Demo "Under This" by auto production. They spend several times on scene, in particular with at the Hertz Night Festival, Camaracumm Festival and for many associations.
In October 2004, Fabrice decides to leave Euterpia.
At this turning point Euterpia changes its music to make it more original and aggressive. This final formation occurs in various festivals of which Dark Fest, the festival Heart of rockor, the springboard TC music, etc. The group also connects concerts in the North of France with: Goryptic, Perkiz, SyN, euthanasia(Japan), Moonkind, Unscarred, Mandragore, Alasthor, etc.
At the beginning of 2007, the group is preparing the coming out of its first album named "Between Darkness and Light", striking and flying album where them "Doom-Death" connects its felling with shrewdness and logic, on long musical parts telling the life, as a tortured religious text.
