ESQUIRE, Founder of AMBITIOUS PRODUCTIONS, has had a vaild poetic license since he was 10. In the still of most evenings, the Barrington Apartments roared with the freestyling of a then 20 year old Esquire and many others, usually until "Drunk o' clock in the morning."
These acts proved fruitful when Esquire went against the odds November 2007 and entered The Source Magazine Unsigned Hype Touring Competition. At the end of the night, Esquire aquired the gold, secured his spot on page 3 of the Source Magazine, AKA the Bible of Hip Hop/Rap, and set forth on a new path. Since April of 2008, Esquire has had at least 4 shows a month INCLUDING 2 CASSIDY SHOWS, TWISTA, FREEWAY OF ROC A FELLA, BIZZY BONE, JR WRITER OF DIPSET, UPCOMING PAUL WALL SHOW and is now the host of Dayton's only true open mic for rap/hip hop artist, 'Roc Da Mic' Monday's @ Santana's, 135 E. Third Street, Downtown Dayton; still recording the verse you will remember and living the ones you dream to write. :)
ESQUIRE has had various influences while growing up in Dayton, Ohio, THE GEM CITY; a city known for cultivating musical excellence in many genres. From The Notorious B.I.G to A Tribe Called Quest, Ghostface Killa to Outkast, Twista to The Fugees, Cam'ron to Lil' Wayne, Mos Def, and so on, Esquire has absorbed a witty, descriptive, story-esqe delivery. Serious when it comes to writing, Esquire is just as passionate inside the booth; penning both edgy-seductive flows and raw, "did he really say that." lyrical content.
