Escape In Progress

Escape in Progress' journey started 3 years ago as Bal-Vinder Core, with the original line-up of Scott (Vocals), Curt (Guitar), Matt (Bass) and Gav (Drums). After replacing Matt with Dan on bass and bringing in former Feelin' Forever Wednesday lead guitarist Rhys as a replacement for the departed Curt, the band spent six weeks recording their first EP at Screamadelica Studios in Cardiff under the production of Chris Maguire of AltSounds.



After finishing their EP, the band decided that their music and progress would be limited with their current drummer, so the band replaced him with Rhys's brother Aled. With nearly a completely new line up, the band decided to change their name to Escape in Progress as it was a bit easier to pronounce! Now the band could fuse their catchy riffs, funky bass-lines and politically motivated lyrics with a drummer who many compare to the Rev from Avenged Sevenfold!



Escape in Progress include the likes of Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica and Green Day as their main influences, taking their qualities and creating a whole new unique sound.



With airplay on both British and American radio and over 14,000 MySpace friends, Escape in Progress are taking the internet by storm. With fans all over the world and a firm fan base throughout South Wales, Escape in Progress are definately one to watch out for in the near future.
