Aamir and Xzcircles return for their fourth album Coming of Age. Since their last album EA3 in 2005, both Aamir and Xzcircles have put out solos including Underwater Regions and Act of Gosh, respectively. And as a group they have dropped several vinyl EP's, including the picture disk 12 inch "Mass w/o Mass", the split 12" EP with inDepth "Red Spirits and Blue Jets", and the precursor 10" picture disk EP "For The Birds" with Deeskee, of which some tracks appear on the new album. This group definitely gets better with age!

Xczircles - The Purge Digipack CD



Debut instrumental project from L.A. based producer and member of the Escape Artists. Emcees ranging from Awol One (Shapeshifters), L'roneous, Bigg Jus (Company Flow), Radioinactive, Ellay Khule, 2mex, Stacs of Stamina, Jizzm, Thesis Sahib, Ceschi, Riddleore, Tommy Vee, Gel Rock, Sontiago, to Cavemen Speak have appeared over his beats. This album is a far cry from the typical self-indulgent instrumental project consisting of pretentious sixteen minute tracks. The Purge is more of a mixtape made for the impatient listener with attention deficit disorder. The Purge is a collection of beats, songs and oddities strung together in a continuous mix where the average cut is 1-2 minutes long – designed to be listened to in one sitting without the need to skip through tracks searching for substance. 44 tracks total clocking in at just about 60 minutes.
