Erkka Korhonen

Born January 30, in Vantaa, Finland, Erkka got his first touch of rock'n'roll after seeing The Who perform on tv. The toy Stratocaster was in two pieces since. After his brother started to play violin and classical guitar, Erkka first started to play the flute when he was 7 years old. His brother's guitar intrigued him and at the age of 9 Erkka took up private classical guitar lessons along with flute and studying at the elementary school's music specialisation class. Music class included choir singing and several concerts in which Erkka sang with the choir, played flute and even played the bass! Some songs even included playing on the electric guitar, if Erkka only remembered to open the volume pot. CONTINUED ON THE BIOGRAPHY BLOG.
