Erin Jennae

Hello all you MySpace friends and family! For all you newcomers, my name is Erin Jennae. I'm an 18 year old singer-songwriter from the sunny California port city of Stockton, a city full of smart and very talented folks but only known for it's crime, unfortunately. I've been in this music game since I was 13, when I started fooling around in my dad's home studio. I've been singing since I was born (I'm told), mastered my first song at 6 (R. Kelly's, "Bump and Grind")not so proud of that one, and released my first cd when I was 16. It didn't do so hot, but it was a huge learning experience.gotta chalk it up to something :). I've definitely come a long way as an artist and performer. I work very closely with my family. My big bro (J.D. Burrise aka Buggs) has produced most of my songs and my sis Andi also collabs with me at times. We come from a musically inclined family, dad was lead singer in a 70's funk band, " The 9th Creation", and my mom is quite the vocalist and musician as well. Currently, I've been getting my grind on with this whole entertainment thing. I'm doing what I love and won't compromise my beliefs in order to do it!!! I'm just a down to earth kind of girl that loves to laugha lot.sing, paint, write, and hang out my with nieces, nephews and gazillion cousins. I get my "exotic" look from my African American dad and Filipino mama. My influences are all over the place and I listen to all kinds of music. I LIKE GOOD MUSIC. Plain and simple. Not a big fan of a lot of the stuff that's on the radio, but must admit I do like the fun Beyonce stuff.what can I say, I'm an 18 year old girl! HOLLA!
