Born and raised in Baldwin, NY, Eric Sanicola began his career at the age of 18 in the renowned Cove City Sound Studios as a studio intern. For the next couple of years, Eric practiced and refined the skills he needed to create hit records. After cutting one of his songs with Jennifer Lopez, he signed a publishing and production deal with the Grammy and Oscar Award winning producer, Ric Wake.

Eric’s partnership with Ric led to impressive production and songwriting work for Corbin Bleu, Walt Disney, Pink, Thalia, Michael Bolton, Anastacia, Kimberly Locke, Jurassic 5, Ali Vegas, Ric Cordero and Walt Disney’s feature film, “Enchanted” . He produced international singles for best-selling "Australian Idol", Anthony Callea; Asian superstar Coco Lee; and NERD front girl, Rhea. Furthermore, Eric found even greater successes with album credits on Paulina Rubio’s “Ananda”, David Bisbol’s “Premonicion”, and Marié Digby’s first single “Say it Again”. Combined, these artists would sell over 2 million records worldwide. Soon after these accomplishments, Eric left Ric and Notation Publishing to begin his own production company, Thundatraxx.

Since the start of this venture in 2008, Eric has expanded his credit and client list to include Yanni, Vlad Topalov, Sirens, Sunsilk, and Nickelodeon’s newest television series, “Big Time Rush”.

In early 2009, Eric began working with then unknown artist, J Brazil. Using Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” as a blueprint, they created a certified pop anthem titled “Girl I’m Tryin”. Shortly after, the record would become the primary catalyst for a single record deal between J Brazil and Ultra Records, who were looking to follow up their two latest Billboard top 20 hits, “Calle Ocho” and “Calabria”. In early December, Ultra Records released the single and video for "Girl I'm Tryin”. In less than 24 hours, it had skyrocketed to 19 on the iTunes dance charts with much acclaim. Similarly, the music video received over 100,000 views in the first ten days. Following these achievements, Ultra Records announced that it would bring the record to mainstream radio.

Although his achievements are as diverse as they are impressive, Eric continues to develop his artistic talents so that he may leave a greater mark in the music industry and provide inspiration to music creators and consumers alike.
