Wassup People?!

I'm not going to give myself one of those long drawn out introductions; the facts are these:

I love music and all that it brings to life. I'm addicted so i get my fix any way that I can.

Though my first undying devotion belongs to the pen and pad, I somehow can't stop myself from singing (Okay,so I haven't even tried to quit!) but you get the point!

The love affair between us (music and me that is) began at Greater Bethany Baptist Church; where under the tutelage of Ms. Stefanie Briscoe (I love you Step, R.I.P) I learned, as she so eloquently put it, to "OPEN YOUR MOUTH!", and I did just that; the rest is history! With the support of my Mom and Dad (I love y'all way too much), the rest of my hilarious family, and a group of incredible friends that must love me in order to put up with my crazy ass, I have always been encouraged to follow my dreams; so I'm giving it my best shot!

I sing background for a host of extremely talented artists: Kelis,Will Hoge, Algebra Blessett, Divi Baby,Shereefa, Johnny Gill, Gordon Chambers, etc. I'm currently touring with Kelis and I'm having a f-----' ball! I have also been in a couple of plays that toured nationally last year: "The Man of Her Dreams, and "Stranger In My House"; while on the road with them I met people that are sure to be life-long friends and learned a great deal about professionalism and human behavior in general. I have been soaking up all that I can, for the past three years, from the underground music circuit in Atlanta; where I am constantly inspired and amazed by the talent of the musicians there (I absolutely love each and every one you!).

I am currently working on a project of my own:"The Eva Kennedy Project: Chameleon", in it I hope to give life to all the things that I have learned thus far and a clear view of where I stand as a result of these experiences. I hope you enjoy the music that you hear on this page and I encourage you to PLEASE give feedback and spread the word.
