Eric Hamilton fronts this band who has had several stages of existance. It all started with Eric and a young phenom by the name of J.W.Younger.Around 1986 they were rocking around Nashvegas under the guise "Younger Hamilton Underground".Packing out little dives like Guido's Pizzaria,Bell Cove, and The VFW,they quickly were gathering fans and the intrest of other seedy music types. Both were working as side men for John Carter Cash,in a band called 'Electric Iguana',along side Ira dean, now a founding member of 'Trick Pony'.Soon after, Don "Duck' Reno became the bass and banjo player, and the band became "Captain Freaky Deaky".Duck is now in an outfit called 'Hayseed Dixie'.These guys are tearing Europe up,"GREAT". Duck left to pursue his bluegrass carreer and replace ing him on bass was a guy,the most bottom feeding,greasy,back-side bass player in the land,Jake"the Snake"Byers.By advice of shitty management,it was now known as 'Eric Hamilton Band'.This is around 1990.During a show one night, these girls pushed a guy onto the stage with his harp.Scott"Sweepy,Huge Balls"Walker was a perfect fit for this act.He got it natural, for his Grandfather is Billy Walker, who has served the "Grand Ole'Opry"for 45 years.Sweepy's great playing and crazy stage presence drew even more attention. Next came Jeff Armstrong.Eric's brother Chad sent Jeff into play one night and again a perfect fit.Jeff has a piano style completely his own.You can tell Jeff's playing in two bars.Like Billy Joel or Elton, you just know it's him. All that was needed now was a drummer. The new manager for EHB,Bill Fletcher,a.k.a."The Wolf",brought his long time friend,BooBoo McAfee, out to hear these guys.Boo was and is world recognized for not only his great style, but his incredible stamina. He held the world record, for playing drums 30 days and 18 hours. He had years of touring experience and was a great asset to the band. These 6 guys held it together for 10 years. After the deal with Curb Records was over these guys left on good terms to explore new adventures. The "new "guys,(it's funny, after 6 years or so they still are the new guys). Dave Harrison--Drums and Percussion(also plays with a spectacular artist and good friend,Edwin McCain) Ethan Pisner--Bass (now playing with "Big&Rich) Lee Hendricks--Bass (also with Edwin McCain,Olivia Newton John) Raymond Arias --Electric Guitar ( Ray is ,without a doubt, the coolest guy I know.I'm talkin' Fonzie cool.also He's a capricorn) Max Radlif--Acoustic & Electric Guitar ( The most under-rated player in town.A monster with a lambs demeanor.I've never seen him mad.Plays his ass off) Other guys have sat in, off & on, over the years.Even though they have not been full time members, thier contributions have been instumental(pardon the pun) in the creation of wonderful music. Jason Witt--Keys,Dobro,Mando(Jason has been with "Exile" for 13 years) Brandon Witt--Keys,B-3,Rhodes(Dixie Chicks,Trick Pony,Billy Currington,Ty Hearndon,Jason and Brandon are twin bros) Curtis Erdik--Bass,Screaming Electric Guitar (Bon Jovi, also was Front of house for EHB on several US tours) Craig Wright--Drums,Perc(Carrence Dobbins,Great Guy & new Father) Steve King--Keys(Martina McBride,Brooks and Dunn,a.k.a.Poindexter) Chad Mize--Bass(Texarkana,the Jeff Williams Experience) Brad Cummings--Drums,Perc(Texarkana) Nicole Brunker--Accoustic Guitar ( The Orphans,Nicole Waters) John Wheeler--Fidle ( front man for Hayseed Dixie) Dale Reno--Mandolin (Hayseed Dixie,The Reno Brothers)
