With his roots on Lake Oconee, Georgia, just outside of two major music hubs in the southeast, Eric has created a unique, Americana Rock, Alternative Country sound difficult to define and hard to compare to just one artist. Lake Oconee lies an hour south of Athens and an hour east of Atlanta. Fans and critics say his sound is simply a cross between Keith Urban and John Mayer. When those powers collide, you have singer/songwriter Eric Dodd.

It just so happens, Lake Oconee is where Grammy award winner, Zac Brown, ran a Bluebird Cafe-esque bar, "Zac's Place" and honed his sound. Eric was Zac's opener most nights and also shared the stage with him at the legendary Georgia Theatre in Athens. The time Eric spent with Zac served as a time of learning and understanding of the construction of a live show, songwriting and how every lyric in a song is there for a reason.

Eric's soul-filled stories of heartache, rekindling of relationships, and finally, of hope, fill his follow-up album, Hellos and Goodbyes. Each set list, song, and word is in place for his fans pleasure. He seems aware of his surrounding audience when observing the dynamics of his differing sets, appealing to many different groups. Popular Rock and Country fans unite as Eric Dodd has managed to accommodate you both.

"Hellos and Goodbyes" is the answer album to his debut release, "Heal." Take a listen and join the ride. "Hellos and Goodbyes" truly represents Eric Dodd. Turn it up and enjoy!
