Beginning his career producing tracks for local artists & companies such as WordofSouth.com’s Gunshine State Compilation, DSI Entertainment Group’s K-OTIC, ABM Entertainment’s B.Z., and Dade Fire Entertainment’s Colosus among others, E.R. took it a step further in 2008 and added rapping and engineering into his repertoire. “I’ve always been rapping since I was a kid in middle school, but I initially fell in love with production. Producers in Miami are a dime a dozen, so in order to get out there I knew I would need more to offer, so I took the rapping skills I always had growing up and added that into the mix.” Taking up audio engineering courses while in college also proved to be beneficial for E.R., whose course instructor immediately realized E.R. had a natural talent and advised him to keep it up and he may have a future in that field of work.



Aside from being a multi-faceted individual, E.R.’s music also sets him apart from the rest of the talent individuals involved in Miami’s music scene. Choosing to stray from the typical glorification of the fast life, E.R.’s lyrics portray a lighter and more positive perspective of life in the ghetto. “It’s a known fact, most of these rappers glorifying drug dealing or a life of crime are flaugin’, and I realize it’s a lot of young kids listening and looking up to these rappers and eventually following the foot steps that dudes rap about, but they themselves never lived. I try to use my music and my legit hustle as a way to show others that although your up bringing may be rough, it’s not necessary to be involved in the street life to get where you want to be.”



On the production side of things, E.R.’s beats are what he is most known for. As a student of hip-hop, E.R. effortlessly combines complex Southern-styled drums, dusty vinyl samples the East Coast was known for in the 90’s, the laid back feel the West Coast is famous for, and a distinguishable bounce reminiscent of the Midwest scene into a sound that can only be described as unique and one of a kind. “Growing up in Miami, the marching band drum patterns are second nature to me, but I feel that synthy sound we’re famous for is kind of over used, and I’m young but I’m old school at heart. My parents listened to Latin music, Soul, Funk and Reggae music, which allowed me to have an appreciation for melody and harmony so although my tracks have that bounce and they’ll bang in the trunk, they’ll always contain a touch of musicianship which anybody into music can appreciate." />

With so much to offer, the sky is the limit for E.R. With a love for the music which is rarely seen in this day and age, as well as a business-savvy mind who can avoid all the pitfalls of bad business deals, E.R. is a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming years.
