Gli Enjoint nascono nel 1995. Fin dagli esordi leterogeneo gruppo trova un punto dincontro nel desiderio di fondere in un sound originale stili musicali diversi quali lo ska, il punk-rock e il reggae. Nel novembre 96, dopo varie esibizioni e concorsi per band emergenti, gli Enjoint realizzano un primo demo che trover ampi consensi nel padovano dando avvio alla cosiddetta "ska revolution".

Nel 1997 la formazione si allarga con laggiunta della sezione fiati che permette di sondare nuovi orizzonti entrando nei territori dello ska original e dello swing che coloreranno di nuove tinte il progetto del recente gruppo.

Nel 2000, i tempi sono maturi per la realizzazione del primo album ufficiale. Lesordio discografico, intitolato "skankin twins", uno split album condiviso a met con la band tedesca maskapone, pubblicato sia in italia che in germania dalle etichette indipendenti "kob records" e "mad butcher records".un discreto successo di pubblico consente al gruppo di intensificare lattivit live con concerti in diversi locali, club e festival del nord italia apparendo anche al fianco di mostri sacri dello ska e del reggae come skatalites, the wailers e laurel aitken. Non mancano significative esperienze anche nel resto della penisola e in europa (svizzera, austria, germania, olanda, belgio e croazia).

Nel 2003 gli Enjoint iniziano a lavorare sui nuovi brani ritirandosi in studio di registrazione, dove troveranno preziosi supporti tecnici e nuovi collaboratori che sapranno valorizzare il suono della band non solo per le incisioni ma anche nei live.Nel 2005 gli Enjoint entrano in contatto con letichetta discografica "bagana records", che pubblica il nuovo album e include la band padovana nella propria scuderia.Impossibile restare fermi: do you wanna dance?

Enjoint has been an active and popular band in the Italian Ska scene since 1995, whose music is composed of different musical influences such as reggae, rock steady, punk-rock, jazz and swinging rhythms.

Their first official recording was the split cd Skankin Twins (2000), a co-production of Italian label KOB records and German Mad Butcher Records.

After the release of this record Enjoints live performances have increased considerably, holding dozens of gigs all over Italy and playing as a supporting band for Ska and reggae titans as Skatalites, The Wailers, Laurel Aitken.

Over the last years, after many concerts and positive feedback, also outside Italy (Austria, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and Croatia) the band has improved its show and worked on their new LP, with new collaborations.

With the release of the new album, in the autumn of 2005, Enjoint has reached an artistic maturity, revealed by ten songs full of personal expression and stylistic contaminations, evocating motley sonority and atmosphere.

On stage the band propose an entertaining and involving show, playing with a contrast between a fun show and a smart and serious look, recollecting Caribbean period orchestras.
