Enid Williams (Girlschool)

Enid began gigging at 14 in the all female rock band ´Painted Lady´

alongside schoolfriend Kim. In 78 Kelly and Denise joined and the group became

´Girlschool´ After hundreds of gigs the band toured with Motorhead

and released their first album ´Demolition´.

This was followed by the top 5 silver single ´Please Dont Touch´

and the ´Hit and Run´ album which went gold in Canada. After worldwide

touring and gigs with Black Sabbath, Rush, Uriah Heep and a headline slot at

Reading Festival Enid parted company with the band in 82.

She gained a post-graduate music diploma at the Guildhall, toured with English

National Opera, wrote and produced 4 short operas at the I.C.A, performed in

West End Musicals and wrote and presented astrology for cable T.V. Enid also

ran rock music projects in schools and with ´Rock Pop and Soul Singing´

has taught hundreds of people to sing.

In 2000 she rejoined Girlschool with guitarist Jackie followed by the release

of the ´Innocent´ album, worldwide tours and latest album ´Believe´

featuring the single ´Crazy 2´(The Ace Remix).
