Engorgement In Veins

This project started in summer 2005 by the sick minds of Angelo (guitar) and Massimo (drummer of the Mutala, too). For a couple of months the line up was incomplete, but on December Francesco joined the band and became the vocalist. On August 2006 Marco completed the line up, occupying the band’s empty bassist role , so the ENGORGEMENT IN VEINS were born. The intentions of the band was creating a brutal death metal following the style of the great names of the industry. Two months later, the band had their first performance in Lecce. Shortly afterwards, the E.I.V. supported the Necrotorture at the Nordwind Disco Pub (Bari) and in the meantime they recorded the first demo tape in the Sound Cubed Studio (Bari) and it was released on January 2007. In the end of March, the E.I.V. joined a small tour named “Land of the dead Tour” where they supported one of the greatest names of Italian brutal scene: Corpse Fucking Art. Due to these events, the celebrity of the band grew up considerably and they received lots of positive feedback. During 2007 E.I.V. performed again in Nordwind to support the Terremoto and a month later the band headlined a concert in Catania with the support band Haemophagus. On February 2008 they returned to Nordwind to perform with the Stillness Blade and the Infecthead. Shortly afterwards Marco, the bass player, left the band for personal reasons. However, despite the defection suffered, only a month later the band, with temporary replacement bassist Marco Aromatario (Exhumer, Stench Of Dismemberment, Corpse Fucking Art) and another band, the Engraved , supported the head liner Hour Of penance in a concert in Monopoli at the disco Bocca Che Balla. On June, after several auditions, the E.I.V., following a constructive jam, admitted Fabio into the band ‘cos there was an immediate notable chemistry between them. Unfortunately also the drummer, who was one of the two founders, was forced to abandon the group for personal reasons but he was replaced briefly by Riccardo (Heatred Sigth). The E.I.V. thanks the first members Marco and Massimo for the passion and the dedication devoted to this brutal project and they keep on creatin’ a spiral of perversion and brutality with new songs, even more blasting and corrosive.
