Enemo J, pronounced "ee-nee-mo-jay", the name came from an adjusted title of a patriotic group. The band started in around the year two thousand, which featured the line up of Craig on vocals and decks, Leroy on vocals, Bucky on bass, Dennis on drums and Bob on guitar. The current line up has changed to Craig and Chris on vocals, Simon on drums, Broady and Roy on guitar, and Bucky on bass.
On their first gig the band won first round of the battle of the bands in Tamworth, and went on to come third in the overall competition (being the only metal band in the top three). From this the band has achieved some success winning their home town battle of the bands, coming second in an entire Midlands final at Emergenza (held by official scouts of Sony/Columbia), to which we won best guitarist collecting an Ernie Ball / Music Man sponsored guitar. They also made the top bands of the Midlands held by Xposed Magazine. An early recording made at the Hive in Derby sold fast, it featured the song 'Influential Dropoutz' which also featured on two compilation albums going out to reach over a fair few thousand people. The band had since pulled their early demo due to poor quality recording and went on a year long spree of arranging and hosting gigs to make the money for the 1st (and using that same formula and selling a lot of merchandise to make the 2nd album.) After raising nearly four thousand pounds the band hit the studio. Choosing between various producers up and down the country the band settled with Matt Ellis (recommended to us by Julie Weir –manager of ‘Lost Prophets’) who produced bands such as 'Number One Son', 'Grand Theft Audio' and 'Rico.'
Songs from their first album reached their own success as follows;
Last Children Of History – Video made by Matt Burton is in top 10 most played on the Casket YouTube channel, also received airplay on Redemption TV.
Parasite – Featured on Terrorizer CD going out to 27,000 and Unsigned Magazine which went out to another 1,000.
Influential Dropoutz – On Burton Mail CD (local press cd went out to 2000).
Paths – Most recently used for the new Caprice film ‘Perfect Woman’, it is on the trailer going to this years Cannes film festival.
Sickle – Picked by Rob and Lozz of Kerrang Radio to accompany their Unsigned CD over 20,000 in circulation.
Genetic Hatred – Received regular airplay on Kerrang Unsigned and won Best Metal Act getting them a slot at the barfly to support Raging Speedhorn.
Politically White – Anti-racism song featured on the Divine Intervention compilation (1,000 in circulation).

And so far the second album;
Quail Boy - went onto the Metal Hammer CD compilation going out to over 50,000 people, success coming early 2007 went onto them winning another unsigned Kerrang competition playing the first ever Skin Deep Tattoo Magazine convention, the video then gained circulation on RedTV, is also our most watched youtube video and is introduced by NECRO and MR HYDE.

Both albums are available worldwide via Plastic Head Distribution and more recent iTunes (outselling a lot of top artists) the band are trying to take it to the next level by buy on tours and more airplay, we are gaining more radio airplay but are more after video play as there YouTube videos are collectively clocking up to 40,000 views, they have played Bloodstock with the biggest and best names in metal, upcoming interviews on Kerrang Radio, and have near 10,000 MySpace fans, they are set to appear on Terrorizer and Zero Tolerance CD's towards the end of this year or early next year.
Enemo J have also opened for a long list of bands including, In Flames, Lacuna Coil, Napalm Death, Raging Speedhorn, Wildhearts, Johnny Truant, Razorwire, Viking Skull, Gutworm, HeadHungLow, Godsize, Burnt, When Bullets Fail, The Locusts, D.R.I, Die So Fluid, The Features, Path Of Betrayal, Rattle Snake Remedy, Redjack, Tears of Aske, Wolfpac, Isor, Orthrealm, Headspeed, Long Time Dead, RSJ, Harpies, and more!
