The band formed in the summer of 2004, out of Oxnard California. The name of the band is Encoma, and they play Metal Music. Encoma sounds like Deicide, Old Mans Child, and Slayer. Band members include: Ray (vocals), Mike (bass), Danny Fitz (drums), and Joe (guitars).
Encoma was a mix of many local bands and genres. Line up includes members of; The Rotted, Crop Circle, Eat Shit and Die, Shot in the Face, Manslaughter ect. Since Encoma formed they have played with, Six Feet Under, Job for a Cowboy, Cattle Decapitation, From a 2nd Story Window, In This Moment, and Krisiun. Joe and Danny Fitz have studied different genres in depth, and applied them to their Metal, such as the Latin rhythm in Munge Seed.
