Emmitt Kellar

Emmitt Kellar was a three piece original rock band from Shepherdstown, WV. They exert a gift for blending rock, reggae and country. EK also delights audiences with an exclusive collection of covers. Bob Keel, acoustic rhythm guitarist/lead singer/songwriter, supplies passionate vocals and lyrics. Adding harmonies is Eric Avey, bass guitarist/vocalist. Avey’s bass grooves are melodic and robust. His sound is unmistakable. Ben Proudman, drummer, is the EK core. Every great band has a rhythm section with vigor and grit, and that’s just what Proudman contributes to the band. EK has released two Eps and is currently working on a full length "Farewell" album to be released in late 2008. Right now the band is parting ways as Ben moves to NYC and we wish lots of LOVE and LUCK. On stage, EK’s fortitude is unyielding. These fabulous three individuals each have diverse musical tastes and ideas that fuse and become the Emmitt Kellar experience. I'm sure this won't be the last of EK, but do make sure ya come out one more time to celebrate where it all began!
