Emmanuel Miranda

A product of his own instincts, tenacity and raw talent. Emmanuel Miranda is a self-taught person.He was Borned in Alagoas which is a little state in northwest from Brazil.
He started to Play bass at 16 and one year later he was playing professionally in several bands of his city.
Therefore, he began to performance with the best musicians there and
he had a great pleasure to play with almost all of them.
He very quickly reached respect for his abilities with slapping and for his own features. been considered for much of the musicians there as the best bass player from there.Through a very intensive study and dedication to the Bass has developed an original and your own bass style.
To develop his features Emmanuel has traveled a lot.Always trying to get as informations as possible with diferent musicians.In 2003 he goes to São Paulo to play with your old band,there, he had oportunity to record many Broadcastings.Afterthat he goes to Salvador where he played with some famous bands.



Since too young, he had good influences like Marcus Miller and Mark King,Wictor Wooten,Celso Pixinga,Les Claypaul, Flea, Gary Wllys,Rchad Bonna,Stu Hamm,Anthony Jackson,Jaco Pastorious,John Patitucci,and now he is getting a lot of influences from great bass players from all over the world.
Emmanuel is completely fall for regio rhythms and he always tried to make a mix among jazz fusion, Rock, Funk and Brazil,an regio rhythms.
The people said that Emmanuel is unieke, they said: "We can recognize him when he is playing even with the eyes closed".
In Brazil we can find many articles published in magazines and newspaper about him or his bands , a lot of Broadcastings in Great TV programs in Brazil ,Video clips in MTV Brazil.



He already started the pre production of his first Album as solo artist which will be Released this year and will be a mix of brazilian regio elements,Powerjazz, Rock , Funk. It's gonna be that you can say: "Really Fusion".In this cd he will try to show a little bit of traditional brazilian culture.
