Emily & The Marauders are Emily Stine (vocals, guitar), Shane Considine (drums), Christian Mendoza (lead guitar, vocals) and Nate Lueck (bass, vocals).



Emily Stine opened for Joan Jett & The Blackhearts in Orlando, FL at the City Hall Park. After Stine’s subsequent move to New York, her Joan Jett connections introduced her to Drummer Shane Considine and they started writing songs together. Christian Mendoza was quickly referred to them as his guitar playing style closely emulates the punk/rock songs the Stine/Considine partnership was crafting.



A series of successful gigs and tours from NYC through to Florida followed in December 2009/January 2010, however the permanent line-up was not complete as the search continued for a gifted bass player. A chance meeting in spring 2010 between the band and Canadian Nate Lueck cemented the permanent band lineup whilst augmenting the Stine/Considine/Mendoza songwriting partnership.



In June 2010, the band underwent a name change to Emily & The Marauders from The Emily Stine Band. They immediately started recording new material after the release of the band’s first video, Girl Boys Noise Noise, which is also the headlining song for the soundtrack of the forthcoming film, The Tenant (release date 2010).



Emily & The Marauders are planning a tour for this fall 2010.
