$580 gets you your own semi-furnished room and shared bathroom right across from you. This includes all utilities, cable tv and wifi internet, washer/dryer and full and house privileges. You will have plenty of privacy because your room is in a sealed off section of the house. The house is located on a super mellow, safe and quiet street in Mission Hills (818) in the San Fernando valley (walking distance to busline and minutes from CSUN, Northridge Mall, and plenty of restaurants, parks, etc.) You can have friends over whenever you like and you'll basically have the living room all to yourself!
I will be your landlord but im super chill, easy going and will bend over backwards for my roommates needs! I have dozens of different projects im working on and will be going back to school soon as well as working full time so you'll probably only see me twice a week (if that!) I am a musician but I only play in the garage that im converting into a sound proof recording studio so you will always have peace and quiet when u need it! You can also play your music as loud as you like because I love all music and nothing really bugs me!
I like to keep a fairly clean kitchen and bathroom and also all dogs and/or cats must be kept outside (we have a nice backyard with a doghouse!) Other than that I don’t really have any rules!
Ideally, I’d like you to commit to a 5 month contract but im open to negotiations and can work with you. Also if you wanna save some $$$ and share a room with your best bud the combined cost will be only $775. URGENT UPDATE 2 (10/03/2009): im offering $100 out of my first paycheck to ANYONE who refers me to ANY PLACE thats hiring! (provided i get the job of course!) I will right out a real contract and have it notarized in front of you plus ill give you my home address SO you can sue me AND hire a hitman to blow me away if i dont pay up! i have over 15 years of customer service, sales and retail experience but i will accept any minimum wage position at this stage of the game plus i will help you out in any other way i possibly can! (mow your lawn, rub your back, help you movewhatever you need!) my only real preference is for something close to me in the valley (sherman oaks, encino, studio city, chatsworth, northridge, arleta, van nuys, canoga park, thousand oaks etc etc.) i desperatley need to pay my rent as i am about 3 months behind! please help me out and tell your friends about my offer! it'll be the easiest $100 youv'e ever made i promise!

GUITARIST/VOCALIST SEEKING FEMALE DRUMMER : i'm starting a new cover band (seperate from Embryonic!) to play mostly alternative rock from 1978-1998 (with a few new ones thrown in here and there). I have played in original material bands and cover bands since i was 15this summer i will be going to the Musicians Institute in Hollywood to get my degree in guitar performance. my background is mainly in punk and grunge but now im looking to expand and include more brit pop stuff. i will easily be the chillest and most hilarious guy youv'e ever worked with but i also take music seriously and wanna practice hard! BUT WHY A FEMALE DRUMMER?? i find women easier to work/get along with and also, i think the whole male/female dynamic is something that we can really, "market" and get a lot of mileage out of (if this makes sence lol) we will mostly be playing shows on the venice beach boardwalk to start out and then we will play wherever people call me a "crazed visionary" but i know what i want outta life and im willing to do whatever it takes to get therenow who will take the crazy journey with me?
PLEASE HAVE: intermediate level skills (able to play a variety of beats), have own drum set, be able to practice at least once a week (possibly more if we can work around our schedules) but the main purpose of the band is to simply have fun and build our chops and live playing experience! so hit me up i promise i dont bite! (hard hehe) or if u know a gal who plays the drums i have a bass player on deck already and a rhythm guitaristALSO IN ALL SERIOUSNESS DONT LISTEN TO THE SONG SAMPLES I HAVE UP!
