El Primo, CAPLAMUSIC

Roddy Omar, aka EL PRIMO, was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He was attracted to music and various rhythms ever since a young age. He lives a normal life, like ordinary Americans. At the age of 18, visiting Miami, Florida, where he met again with his cousin DJ AFRICA(Luis Illescas), from which it looked small. This knowledge as he teaches his DJ sets and to work with. For reasons of force majeure to return to his country, where he manages to make friends with the group ECUALIZA-T, grouping renowned in his country, which offer little time to be part of them as a singer, going in a few months to be a vocalist. He was with them a season, recording a theme called FIN DE SEMANA.

After this season, returns to Miami, where he met through his cousin to the owner of CAPLA MUSIC, who invited him to be part of his musical project, as a singer of talented YAN WEYNN.



EL PRIMO continues similarly working and collaborating with his cousin DJ AFRICA (La Kalle 98.3 FM Miami, Bongos Cuban Cafe) and her friend YAN WEYNN (Vakero Records), but because of life had to move to the state of NEW JERSEY, still working with them.

"In captivity," as he calls it, is preparing his first mix cd.
