“Connecticut based Elotheos turns every one of their songs into a complexly layered screamo epic.  By incorporating soaring guitar shreds, uplifting choruses, and peppered metal turmoil, each track could be divided into three songs apiece - a feat rarely perfected.”Dan Frazier -- HM MAGAZINE

When a musical idea or style becomes popular, few bands have the courage to stray from the expected. Unsatisfied with disappearing into the lineup of another local hardcore show, Elotheos meticulously orchestrates music that’s as intricate as it is catchy. Relying on their technical prowess, tight harmonization, and gripping vocal melodies, the band is constantly raising the bar for themselves as well as heightening the standards and expectations of their continuously growing fanbase.

Formed in the summer of 2006, they have since gained a large Connecticut following, captivating audiences and playing shows alongside such popular acts as Our Last Night, Thieves and Villains, Life in Your Way, Vanna and Spoken. Last spring, Elotheos decided to push themselves in a new direction and self-produce their debut album, creating the signature sound they had been looking for. “Watchmen Don’t Sleep, So Why Should We?” was released in August of 2008 and has thus far changed many lives -- bringing compassion to the broken hearts and homes of this generation, a paramount motive and main focus since the start of the band.

Passionate and steadfast in their goals of becoming something more than just another rock band, Elotheos believes it is time to bring their message of hope and acceptance to a world in dire need of it.
