Since 2006 Elodie has been extremely driven to write & perform on a professional level. Being a vocally & guitar-driven band, their influences range from Pop, Punk, Hardcore, Alternative, & Indie Rock, which all help define the original sound produced. A few influential bands within these genres include A Day to Remember, Four Year Strong, Circa Survive, Silverstein, Underoath, & Set Your Goals. This young & talented band throws catchy choruses & intense breakdowns in a cup of coffee with a few spoons of naturally sweetened dance beats in order to create Elodie.
Elodie is a family of five, including Julius Trombino (17) fronting the band as lead singer, Chris Aguayo (18) as guitarist and background vocals, Peter D’elia (17) as guitarist and background vocals, Billy Franco (16) as bassist and background vocals, & Montana Voetglin (19) as drummer. Each member gives their own unique style & input to the family and the songwriting process.
In May 2010, Elodie's first self titled EP was released on Itunes. The EP was recorded with brilliant Sound Engineer/Producer Mike Lisa who works out of his home studio. Through out the year of 2010, Elodie has performed at both national & regional venues such as The Starland Ballroom (NJ), The Stone Pony (NJ), The Crocodile Rock Cafe (PA), Tuxedo Junction (CT) & more. Having played an impressive roster of shows with recognized bands and select dates of a Greeley Estates & Oh Sleeper tour, performances are filled with nothing but passionate energy while maintaining the same flawlessness they have on recording. In a live performance, Elodie only uses professional gear along the lines of Gibson, Orange, Marshall, & more. Being extremely energetic towards the band, Elodie's fans have shown nothing but support these past few years & the band is looking to gain even more support from new & diverse audiences.
