Electro Funk Lovers

The studio partnership of Coursavietch & mrT has had some funky ass results over the last 12 months.

Fusing Electro elements with Funk feels they have managed to make something a little different that still earns respect and muchos spins on the dance floor.

The partnership has boomed and they are about to open franchises in many countries around the world. "We are expecting a strong growth similar to that of Jim's Mowing" says Coursey with his hand on his wallet and a cheeky "yeah bitch thats all my money" smile on his dial. mrT in contrast has his focus on action figures it worked for Kiss and Britney Spears explains mrT. "Really I want to open a record label" then Coursey spins around and says "I already have one of those" "Bullshit then why do you live in a crap appartment and drive that shit box?" The Bio writing interview is heating up JC jumps up on the swivel chair and starts to assume his "Monkey Style" karate pose on one leg (thats a fcken hard move to do on a swivel chair). mrT yells out "Pitty the fool pitty the fool" He then explains "You shouldn't make me angry you wont like me when I'm angry" Coursey replies with "Thats the Hulk dickhead mrT doesnt say that" "You're a dickhead" "I already said that" "Yes. Haa see you are one"

And before you can say "a flurry of bitchslaps upside the head" the two musical icons begin the battle both looking for bitchslap surpremesy.

"Ahh that one fuckn hurt you wanker" Coursey is injured the first casualty in what would prove to be a long and irritating battle.

There are many doubts left in the mind of the innocent by-stander, but there is one area that is cleaner than a really really clean thing thats just been cleaned the music speaks for itself (Thank fuck for that!)

John Course

A leading DJ and figure in Australian dance music John first rose to prominence when he won the DMC Mixing Competition in Victoria in 1988 (which he again won in 1989). Since that time John has remained at the top of his game. His mixing, scratching and tricks from the early days are still prominent in his sets today, utilising CDJ 1000s, decks, FX and accapellas in the mix of his up, funky, club sounds. Vicious, the record label that John co-owns, was established in 1990 and has also been at the forefront of the Australian Dance scene since its inception. On a production front John was one quarter of the team behind Blackout, whos Gotta Have Hope single was a worldwide club hit back in 1998. With DJ Andy Van the two have lent their remixing talents to a host of Australian and international artists including remixes for Defected UK & Todd Terrys Sound Design label, not to mention artists such as Madison Avenue. It was Andy Vans Madison Avenue success which took Andy around the world performing and DJing, at which time John became the Managing Director at Vicious (the label they own with Colin Daniels). As well as concentrating on the business side of music John continued to build his DJing throughout Australia, beginning a residency at One Love Melbourne back in 2001 and playing regularly outside of his home state of Victoria. At the last Australian Dance Music Awards John was voted by the public as Victorias Best DJ and Vicious won the Best Label award, following up with the number 14 position in 2004s In The Mix top 100 Australian DJs pole. In 2005 John was again voted for in this poll, jumping 14 spots to be voted Victorias number one. John has also mixed a host of compilations since 2002 including A Night Out with John Course and Andy Van, A Night Out with Vicious Grooves, The 2004 Ministry Of Sound Annual, One Love Volume 1, the Ministry Sessions Vol 1, The 2005 Ministry Of Sound Annual, Vicious Cuts Vol 1 and in June of 2005 Volume 2 of the Ministry Sessions. His latest Ministry compilation, the 2006 Annual was released in November 2005 and he will have a new Ministry CD, Sessions 3, out in June 2006 with an extensive National Tour to co-incide with its release. In late 2004 John teamed up with production partner mrTimothy, together working on a host of remixes for Australian, New Zealand and international artist under the name of Electro Funk Lovers. Their remixes, including T Funks Be Together, the Fast Crews I Got and Swing by Savage, have consistently charted in the top 10 of the Australian Club Charts. Expect to see Electro Funk Lovers original productions in 2006 Johns is currently resident at Australias leading house club One Love in Melbourne on Saturday nights, plays regularly at Q Bars mrocking Thursday night session and plays all over the country at various one off gigs in between with two tours for the Ministry Of Sound each year. Constantly in demand for guest spots throughout his home state of Victoria and the rest of Australia he has completed gigs in Dubai and London in September 2005 and is returning to Asia and Europe again in September of 2006. mrTimothy

mrTimothy is a dance music producer who has been making music that makes clubbers shake their ass for years. Working on productions with E Smoove, Felix Da House Cat and Steve Silk Hurley mrT has found himself at home amongst the big boys of the dance music industry. Starting out as a DJ when he was 15 [hes about 2x that now ;-) ] he has an eclectic background in music from Soul, RnB, Funk & Disco back in the day, through to Electro, Vocal House and Deeper tracks that he loves to play today. He spent quite a few years of the decks and in the studio engineering, producing and remixing for all sorts of weird and wonderful people. But it was his first release as an artist that began the demand for him to pick up the crates and head back in to the clubs. The best place for me to test my music isnt in offices with dudes in suits telling me what it does or doesnt need Its in the club with a room full of kids screaming and jumping up and down thats where I do my business Producing his own music, mrT always has something in the bag that the other DJ doesnt have (yet) so he always manages to have fun with his sets playing any number of the different styles of tracks he produces (Tuff Bangin House, Funky Electro House, Vocal and Soulful House) its always up to the crowd as to how far he will take them. After the release of his first 12 (Keep Rockin) the Italian dance & radio charts went off like there hadnt been a vocal house track released there before (29 Compilation placements and still counting with a recent signing in the Netherlands). Employing the unmistakable Inaya Day for his follow up I Am Tha 1 and then Stand By Me (also with Inaya Day) saw both tracks reaching 1 position on the Australian Club Chart. In fact I Am Tha 1 stayed there for 6 weeks and in turn gained mrT an Aria ( Australian Record Industry Award ) nomination. This has attributed to mrT being busier than ever in the studio and also meeting demands for a hectic DJ schedule. I stopped DJing so I could concentrate on my production and remixing, how wrong was I! Haha Now I cant wait to get out in to the clubs, its an important part of being an artist and producer and feeling reactions to my new music is the very reason I started making music! mrT managed to get the pop market & radio excited about a Diva vocal and club production when it looked like we were set for a long period of Wak music. He is always aware that some clubs need to be baby sat while others need to be bitch slapped Daddys home! So armed with his Cds & Records he has been to all the major clubs in Australia including

Two Tribes Dance Party Rod Laver Arena (15,000) One Love (Melbourne) Voted Best Club Night DMA Kink (Sydney) Platinum (Gold Coast) Family (Brisbane) Monastery (Brisbane) SoHo (Cairns) King Street (Newcastle) Bustin (Woolongong) Discovery (Darwin) Heaven (Adelaide) Savvy (Adelaide) Q Bar (Melbourne) Saratoga (Melbourne) Boutique (Melbourne) Entertainment Centre (Perth) Festival Hall (Melbourne) And many other smaller rooms
