Eli has proved himself to be one of the most diverse and powerful performers out of central Virginia or anywhere else for that matter. His range of musical styles that blend everything from blues, hard rock, grunge, metal, hip-hop, soul, folk, and so forth is staggering. Blessed with a deep and powerful baritone that stands alongside greats like Muddy Waters or John Lee Hooker, he is also capable of a primal howl that would give even Kurt Cobain a run for his money.

Eli began his musical efforts as an acoustic blues/gospel performer in the central Virginia area at the age of 15. His first blues trio, the Red House Blues Band, was formed two years later and performed a mesh of Hendrix/Vaughn/John Lee Hooker covers and instrumentals.

Finding his own musical voice, he eventually managed to break free from the restrictions that the blues genre placed on his songwriting. Today, he performs constantly with rhythm sections that are pushed by grinding bass lines and Zeppelin-esque drumming: the perfect canvas for Eli's guitar and vocal prowess. Inversely, he keeps in touch with his roots by performing many solo blues shows that are unmatched in intensity; he has already opened for B.B. King four times with these efforts. His records include the critically acclaimed acoustic, "Miss Blues' Child," released when he was only 19 on the Sledgehammer Blues/Valley Entertainment label, the hard rock "ElectricHolyFireWater" and his upcoming album, "Static in the Blood," which is a folk/hiphop/rock lament, that furthers his explorations as a songwriter and performer. Two more records, one an electric blues album with mostly originals, and the other, a new hard rock outing with all songs by the man himself, are currently in the works.
