Ed Rock aka Ea$y Money, can be described as an MC in it's truest form. Combining wit, charisma, clever wordplay, a strong, flow, voice and delivery, this MC brings the complete package. The ability to create party starters, personal offerings and street anthems enables this Murda Ma$$ raised lyricist to please club goers, street corner hustlers and Hip Hop purists alike. This also may make him one of the hottest up and coming MCs to check for in years to come.

Although inspired by all types of music his entire life, it wasn't until his teen years that Ed Rock discovered that Hip Hop was his passion, as well as a dream he believed he could one day bring to life. Influenced by B.I.G's versatility and flow; 2Pac's work ethic; Jay-Z's charisma and consistency; Nas' depth and creativity and Big Pun's lyricism and Latin flavor, Ed Rock separates himself from other MCs by adapting to any rhyme style or concept without jeopardizing his credibility and remaining true to himself as an artist.

In 1998, Ed Rock found himself freestyling with childhood friend Termanology, who was taking a more serious approach at rap music by recording songs in a studio. Although skeptical at first, it didn't take long to convince Ed to join forces and form a group they would later on name S.T.R.E.E.T. (Speakin' Through Raw Epilogue, Ed & Term). The two MCs made a name for themselves in the Boston rap scene by entering local rap battles, performing at night clubs and releasing an independent single entitled "Heat." Ed Rock would also release a series of mixtapes on his own called "The Best of. Volumes 1-3" and "Scared Money Don't Make None", which were very well received by the streets. Ed and Term would also release a mixtape together called "Reintroduced."

Determined and hungry, Ed Rock would enter and win numerous local rap battles, most notably the annual Super Bowl Battle held in The Middle East night club in Cambridge, MA in 2002. Such accomplishments helped gain the attention and respect of local rap fans and DJs, including Jam'n 94.5's own Gee Spin, who then and now still supports and play's Ed Rock's records on his Sunday night mix show "The Launch Pad."

Well know for his energetic stage presence, Ed Rock has shared the stage with some of music's biggest names. From Hip Hop heavyweights like Wu-Tang, Fabolous, Chingy, Cormega and dead prez, to well known R&B acts such as Omarion, Lloyd, and Akon, Ed Rock has not only shared the stage, but shined with the best of them.

With his solo debut album entitled "Extraordinaire" coming soon on Way Big Records, not only does Ed Rock hope to put the Boston rap scene on the map, but also to bring good music and substance back to the industry- just what the game needs.
