Please see Top Friends, at this time I have Obama/Biden and FZ on TOP as this is a good time to be thinking of Frank's words on politics, society and our freedoms.Think before you vote! Please see my BLOG____I am VERY HAPPY to have so met many wonderful friends here - each one deserves good vibrations and great attention and please dig thru ALL my Friends - gems of Creativite Genius lurk within and I think you will be as inspired as I am by much of the work that your hear. I My first significant influence was Detroit/Motown/Funk Brothers. I am grateful to have recently met drumming Master Uriel Jones at the Cape Breton Drum Festival, where Bruce and Gloria Jean Aitken also brought in Carmine Appice, Danny Seraphine, Michael Shrieve (award winner), Dom Famularo, Aldo Mazza, Alan White, Reek Havok, David Jones, Larnell Lewis, Pamela Lynn, Bodhran-Bodhran and many other of the best drummers in action. Uriel Jones rec' a lifetime achievment award, whih is great! Uriel's vibe permeated the entire Festival in a quiet and benevolent way. Myself 2008: I love of the spontaneous nature of DUB, Reggae and Jazz, The Essence of DUB for me is emerged from years of playing and developing experimental world musics with my percussion friends at Hartt College and Cal Arts with John Bergamo, initiated into Reggae by Bob Marley and The Wailers July 4, 1975, their music and Bob's message have effected me deeply and so.I am grateful. As a musician, piano player, drummer, percussionist, mallet player, composer, teacher, electronic sound designer, programmer, recording engineer, recording engineer and producer, I remain eternally busy and each gig seems to lead to the next. My background is that I fooled around with piano and drums as a kid, was lucky enough to meet percussionist Judy Chilnick as a teen at New England Music Camp. Judy led me to drummer Richie Lepore and Master Percussionist and Drummer Alexander Lepak in Hartford CT Mr. Alexander Lepak who I love like a father directed me to John Bergamo at California Institiute of the Arts in 1973. CalArts during that time period was a wide-open frontier of artistic feedom and madness, and we made the Most of it. It was the weirdest, best, trippiest, deepest and most artistically intensive experience ever. There were long stretches when it was rare to leave the massive building, much less the campus. Students and faculty would take strange drugs which cause unforeseen spontaneous floods of multi-media interaction. Prophets and desperados would wander in from the desert. Cults, New Religions and Anarchey Flourished, and this went on 24/7 for years. It could never be te same now, the place would be shut down. So - again I am grateful to my teachers John Bergamo and (South Indian Karnatic Mridangam player/teacher) T. Ranganathan, and all my student friends. I participated in formation of Repercussion Unit in 1976 which to my knowledge was the 1st crossover percussion ensemble to incorporate all-world influences over strong rock background, lead by Guruji John Bergamo. Reperussioin Unit is John Bergamo, Larry Stein, Jimmy Hildebrandt, Lucky Mosko, Paul Anceau and myself. In 1977 I began a Long Tenure with my beloved friend and mentor FRANK ZAPPA, which lasted thru 1988. I have also worked with Hal Budd, John Cage, Lou Harrison, T. Ranganathan, Don Ellis, Mark Isham, Bill Bruford, Ambrosia, London Symphony Orchestra, Bruce Fowler, Don Preston, Blotto, Shadowfax, Rickie Lee Jones, Kenny Loggins, Andy Summers, Harry Gregson Williams, Jeff Rona, Klaus Badelt, Los Lobos, John Powell, Hans Zimmer, Larry Klein, Beatnik, Graeme Revelle.others. I have released 5 albums of critical acclaim between 1990 and 1996from 1995-2003 I worked as a sound designer and developed acclaimed products for Paiste America folllowed by 7 years with E-mu (Plant Earth, etc) Tell Me , Beatnikother .com entities, I have hours of new stuff in the can that is soon to be released - it is mostly afro-inspired dub ambientMORE DUB! .soon

I teach, compose, record and otherwise work out of my home studio, I track percussion, sound and for clients worldwide and transfer the files via internet so feel free to ask. Irie Good Vibes to You!! - Ed
