ECLYPS
Representing Riverside California,
this is Eclyps.
Some of you may not have heard of Eclyps
but you will, believe me. He's one of the hottest artists coming out
of this California region in a real long time. Let's
start at the beginning; ten years in the rap game, freestyle competions,
collabing with the best and holding jail houses down. That's Eclyps
aka DaBlacMarcsmen. Spent about the same amount of time locked up
as he has in the rap game, ten years each. But now that he's out,
he's ready to make his mark in the rap game.
The year was 2000, fresh out, and connected with his
homie West Side Bugg. That's when everything became
beautiful for the first time in Eclyps' life. See,
Bugg's the type of homie that looks out for his folx,
which is exactly what he did for Eclyps. In the studio,
Bugg called his boy 40 Glocc (now
Infamous/G-Unit), to come by the studio and feature on a hot new joint.
40 rolled through and met Eclyps
for the first time, and along with Frank Nitty, knocked
out the single "Example From The Streets."
A hot ass joint that had the whole IE buzzing. After
that, a few more tracks were knocked out and that's when Bugg
made the decision to make to Eclyps an official member
of his group the Groove Clique. Since then, Eclyps
has been recording with some of the biggest names on the West
Coast and beyond; Kurupt, Mobb Deep, 40
Glocc, West Side Bugg, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony,
Frank Nitty, Andre Wilson (the son
of Charlie Wilson), as well as up-and-coming artists Double
A, SlymIE, Corey Blunt,
Bright, Madd Hater, Bambino,
Sus and plenty of others. He expanded his game too, networking
with artists from Sacramento, the Bay Area,
San Diego, Vancouver and beyond.
Unfortunately, after that, things took a downfall.
Coming out of the studio, he was robbed of his material. All the songs
he did, beats he had, etc., were taken from him in that instance.
No money, no jewlery, nor his ride with the 24's were harmed, only
his music. The haters knew a dope artist when they saw one, which
is why they only took the music. This was obviously a step back for
Eclyps, but he wouldn't be stopped. Since then, he's
been recording in the studio non-stop as well as watching to see when
his stolen material will be released and by who. Haters beware.
Now, working on new material, Eclyps
is ready to make it official. After being featured on numerous mixtapes,
he's ready to release his own within the next couple of months. Be
on the lookout for it, The Blaccout, state-2-state. He's been in the
studio recording with West Side Bugg and West
Sidin Entertainment, 40 Glocc, Kokane
& more. Everyone is talking about the IE these
days, now it's time to make it happen, which is what Eclyps
is doing. Keep the eyes open and the ears peeled, Eclyps
is dropping that NEW gangsta shit.
