Dunlap Exclusive

Nashville-bred, Pop, Rap, R&B producer and writer , Dunlap Exclusive's music is what you call a diamond in the rough. With influences like Kanye West and the southern music style of today's music, lately Dunlap has been buzzing in the streets, and not just on rap music like other producers. Slowly but surely he has been reaching his peak, and I guess you can say his name rings bells like christmas. His constant drive for music has driven this young solo poineer almost to stardom. Born in Nashville Tn, Dunlap has always loved music. At the age of 13 he started learning the basics of making music. Now a decade later his inspirational beats keep the local artists in his city asking about him, and the industry artist wanting to know where has he been.

Locally he is a King far as tracks and and now branching out, any one who has been around him knows that he is a leader. His career started 5 years ago with his homegrown group called S.W.A.T.S. (See We Are The South). It was a group that consisted of himself and his two of his cousins Peasy and Kane. In a market where local music is not supported by radio, Dunlap was able to get S.W.A.T.S music played. At the time there where recording artist Lil Scrappy, and Stat Quo to help with the group, and after releasing three mix tapes with all original tracks S.W.A.T.S soon became heard, performing and opening up for act's like Lil Wayne and Young Buck.

The run was good but the music scene in Nashville was just too corrupted and not big enough to support what Dunlap wanted. In 06 the group (S.W.A.T.S) moved to Atlanta to pursue their dream. There they were able to plant their seeds but, moved back to Nashville in 07.

Taking home a connect from Atlanta, led Dunlap to Alex who was head of recording artist Plies at Slip N Slide Records. A year later he was granted a position as an in-house producer for Big Gates Records. Rap music wasn't the only thing Dunlap could do, As being so diverse Dunlap's name and music soon caught Tina Davis's attention when she heard the "Wall To Wall" remix by her number one pop selling artist Chris Brown, literally listening to the demo c.d. in her car everyday. You can catch this young producer on 106&Park or MTV flashing through out the scene's of Playa Circle ft. Lil Wayne's "Duffle Bag Boy" Video. However hard work pays off and As a result you can go in your local store and hear Dj Drama hollering Gansta Grills over a track he has done for Gorilla Zoe called" All About My Hustle ft. Lotto(Bad Boy South)", Or you can go back and hear the work he done with G-Unit's Young Buck called "Get Ya Money," just to name a couple. There is still work in progress and a whole lot of music that has yet to be heard by this industry leading producer/ song writer Dunlap.
