DUNA!

Duna was born in the small town of Vallejo, California, the first city in California to declare bankruptcy. He was raised by the streets in 'The Crest', the neighborhood which was home of Mac Dre and the infamous Romper Room Gang. Duna grew up with (and was greatly influenced by) E-40, B-Legit, Mac Dre and Mac Mall.
Duna began rapping at the age of 10. By the age of 15 he had already been featured on a top selling album with Mac Shawn and Coolio Da Unda Dogg. At 17 years old Duna was sent to jail for attempted murder. He spent his hours writing raps and performing for the other inmates. When Duna was released he was determined to make it out of the ghetto and become a successful rapper. He got out and went on tour with B-Legit for a year. Then, after a lot of hard work, he released his first album, 'Crack Baby' which made him a star in the underground rap world.
Duna gained more fame by hosting and throwing the Las Vegas All Stars Concert. He also performed at the 2008 Olympic Trials and threw many wild and unforgettable shows up and down the west coast. In 2009, Duna began his own record label Crack Baby Entertainment. He then released his second album 'El Presidente' which sold out in many stores nationwide.
Duna has helped ease tensions between the two competing bay area labels Thizz Nation Entertainment and Sick Wid It Records by collaborating with, and uniting many artists from the two labels. His fans respect him for his raw talent and for helping to bring the spotlight back to the bay area which was beginning to fade after the passing of his mentor Mac Dre.
