The Dubs

We are an acapella group based in Winnipeg, MB! An independent group that simply sings for the simple joy of singing. We love singing with each other and we definitely love singing for you!



How did this group get together? Here's the group in a nutshell.



In September of 2004, Marilyn Redekop held auditions for an acapella ensemble at the University of Winnipeg. She chose 12 singers that would eventually become The Dubs! After a fantastic two year relationship with the U of W- we had decided to continue as an independent group.



Along with playing their own shows- The Dubs also make themselves available to work with younger groups; working with those who are in junior high/high school and they absolutely love it!



The Dubs have traveled to sing for numerous audiences across the country! The Brandon Jazz Festival, Manitoba Coralfest and The Canadian Rocky Mountain Music Festival* in Banff, AB are just to name a few!



*The Dubs were asked to hold showcase concerts two years in a row in Banff!



It is now 2007 as we enter our fourth year together! We cannot wait get back into the swing of things! The Dubs are about to embark into an adventurous new year with new challenges awaiting!! We definitely invite all of you to come along!!
