Miami is Miami is not the easiest city to make a name for yourself as a rapper. There truly have not been many successful rappers to break out of Miami. Aside from Pitbull, Trick Daddy, Trina, J.T. Money, Poison Clan, MC Shy-D, 2 Live Crew, and a handful of other old-school bass artists, what rappers really made it out of "the Bottom"? Think about It? Compared to other cities like New York and Los Angeles, South Florida is way behind in terms of artists in the game. That's where the current 305 Revolution comes in to play. With the recent success of artists like Pitbull, Pretty Ricky, and The Mavericks, as well as successful production from people like Cool & Dre, Scott Storch, Tony Galvin, and the Diaz Brothers, "the bottom of the map" is now ready for an all-out assault on the music industry. Lyrically or literally. however you want it. The underground Miami Hip-Hop scene has been brewing for years now, and one of the region's youngest MC's is proving himself to be one of the most talented as well. I'd like to take this moment to introduce everybody to Rev of Dub-P. He is one of THE hungriest MC's on the come-up in Miami. from MC Battles to hosting DJ mixtapes to working with Nitefusion's DJ Fuse and releasing his crew, Dub-P's"The Building" as well as his own projects like, "Let It Burn Volume 1 (The Spark-Up)", the young gun is relentless in his pursuit of success. We are about to find out were the ambitious young chico in charge came from and where he is going. He may not know exactly were he's going but he's going fast.With that being said U.b. (head of the thc crew) has also reached out to the young hussler in persuit of making Rev a part of the THC camp.With Nightfusion,Dub-P,and Thc Crew backen the boy up theres no telling the kind of damage that could be done.Now with all eyes looking forward into the highly anticaped mix-album "The Re-up" let it burn 2 hosted by Dj Irie ,Rev continues to grind by appearing on several mixtapes,performing at venues all across the magic city,and working with his new promotional team making sure the streets get a "HIT" of the litte bit of fire Rev has re'ed up on for his time to come.In the eyes of the young chiko this is hussle which mean BY ANY MEANS,english or in spanish,with or with out you ,NOW OR LATER!THE BOY WILL GET HIS!So sit back, relax and just watch the journey go "From the city to the State"(you'll understand that a lil better later).The future of Miami seems as clear as the skies above it!Just leave it to Rev to show ya!The streets are watching.watching REAL close! ya hear dat!?
