A multi-talented septuplet of experienced musicians hailing out central Florida’s coastal county of Brevard, DUB KULCHA has taken it to task to personally deliver the “feel good reggae experience” to audiences small and large with its distinct brand of groovy roots rock reggae vibes.

Easily identified by a hard driving rhythm section and an eclectic blend that brings together a very soulful mix of Reggae, Rock, Hip Hop and R&B music, the band’s unique dynamic derives from its members’ passion and genuine enthusiasm for playing, which immediately encourages listeners to start dancing. Such niceness has gone over real well with hip, local party goers and tastemakers, resulting in solid attendance numbers to its regular weekly performances. It is that popularity among a formidable fan base, and sizeable following, that has helped garner two “Favorite Original Band” Brevard Live Magazine’s Music Awards in 2007 and 2009, as well as the opportunity to open for champions of reggae such as Stephen Marley, Jr. Gong, The Original Wailers, Toots and the Maytals, Inner Circle, Maxi Priest, Yellow Man, and Pato Banton.

Somewhat of a gigging machine, doing 200+ shows a year at bars, restaurants, and clubs between Vero and Daytona, the band is looking to expand its bookings extra regionally and nationally within the immediate future. Festival promoters, concert tour producers, booking agents, and all serious inquiries for private events, media interviews, and personal appearances are welcomed.
