Well let me introduce myself, my birth name is Victor Noel Sanchez but I’m very known as “Lil V“. I’m twenty years old, born the 13th of August the year of 1988. I was born in Washington DC, and lived there for 16 years and moved to Mount Rainier, Maryland, I’ve been there for the past 4 years. I started off by writing poems at age nine, and at age 10 turned them into musical lyrics which I used to freestyle to my friends. I escalated my skills for years when I was fourteen years old I started getting serious about the music and started going to a basement studios. My soul was out to rap. My first official made song was called “Get Up.” I wasn’t aware much of any semi-professional studios so for a few songs I was making them in basement studios. I progressed over the years made various amounts of songs. As years went by it became my dream to make it over the top with my passion for lyrical flow. Once I hit the age of nineteen I was hit with the bad news that one of my closest friends [Francisco Jovany Quintanilla] died, one of the few that was helping me with my dream. He’s death inspired me more then before. A month after his death I wrote a song in his dedication for his dream and goal named “Sisco.” I started to go to open mic’s to perform some of my made songs. A few months after my last song I started to work on my mix tape “The birth of an icon.” I finished my mix tape May of 2008 with 19 songs. As soon as I put it out I started working on my second mix tape “Icon Reloaded” which is where I stand now. I always lived with a certain inspiration deep down inside of me and that’s Don’t Trust Anybody.
