Drunk Again

WE ARE DRUNK AGAIN.that is pretty much how we roll.The band was formed when Eli, Smiley, and Jake got together to jam out in mid-late 2005. Smiley and Eli jammed out together in a few projects and Eli met Jake and they realized that the had similar tastes in music. The three of them immediately clicked, the potential was there. They started laying down tracks for what would become the Drunk Again self titled debut. Fred was invited into the fold as a vocalist, something new for him, he also jammed with Eli and Smiley on guitar but nothing really came out of the mix, just a few riffs here and there. They decided to keep Fred on as vocalist and soon later Jake's friend Angry Mike joined the band on guitar. A new edge and style was introduced with the addition of Mike, a style still evident. After a few months of practice, Drunk Again played their first show in May 2006, Broken Bonez Records "Battle of the Bonez" at Lucky Devil's. Out of 28 bands we came in 3rd place, we literally were "BLEEDING BLOOD FOR ROCK N' ROLL!" Since then we have played various shows, some good, some bad, shared the stage with many awesome acts, played various venues, some open, some not,(R.I.P. Lucky Devil's, Joker's Pub, Texas Lonestar, House of Sin), taken a year long hiatus(Nov. 2007 to Nov. 2008) and have seen members leave the fold,(Angry Mike, Jerr Bruiser, Tony "T-Bone"). 2010 saw the departure of founding member Jake and the introduction of long time friends Jorge and Mario on guitar. The band is currently working on new material and planning to release a full length album by years end. While we have faced some adversity in the past, one thing shall always remain.WE ARE DRUNK AGAIN!!
