First of all, thanks for taking the time to check out my music! I'm a 23 year old singer/songwriter from Austin, Tx. I've been doing what I love best for as long as I can remember now. I'd say I definitely took the long road but its only made me stronger. I'm very blessed to have a family that supports me the way they do. They're my rock.
Bio:
Drew Tichnell is young but not new to the music business. At age 23, she has 2 albums, written over 100 songs, and fronted her own band for over 10 years. Her music is characteristically original with a great cross over appeal.



With the music industry changing, Drew has independently produced, managed, booked, publicized and released her last album on her own label.
At present, Drew is playing in the Austin area and writing material for her next album. Drew recorded in L.A. this summer with producer Tal Bergman, known for his work with Rod Stewart and Billy Idol. The songs you hear on this press kit are all new tracks targeted for future release. Tracks from her previous two albums can be heard through her website links.
Drew's story begins in East Texas where she had already proven her capabilities as a songwriter by recording her debut before she graduated from high school. Finding her way to Austin, she began fronting her own band and playing venues all over Texas. Her influences of 70's soul and classic rock, molded Drew's set of original songs into an eclectic mix of powerful melodies laced with her undeniable Texas roots.
Up close and personal is what fans at a live show remember most about Drew. Her ability to entertain doesn't stop with her awesome powerhouse vocals and stage appeal. Her wit and humor on stage and interaction with the crowd between sets reveal a personal, genuine side that sets her apart from other artists and people never forget her.
